Boat trip, Fish picnic & Observation of Dolphins – excursion NP Brijuni Islands - from Pula by boat

  Hello and Welcome to Croatia!

We are glad to see you on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. To make your vacation even more interesting, consider a boat tour to one of the most beautiful places in the Adriatic.

Brijuni view from Pula. This tour will be arranged on board of the comfortable ship around the Brijuni National Park and will last 5 hours. The Park is located on the islands in the sea. This place is famous because of its former owner Josip Broz Tito, who had a very rare hobby - he collected exotic animals. You will have a guide on board the ship, who will conduct a sightseeing tour around all islands of the National Park and will tell lots of interesting facts about the islands and its famous owners. You will see a wild animal park. The tour programme also includes a dinner on the board the ship. It includes traditional dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine: fish, beefsteak or vegetarian dish. You can have an unlimited amount of drinks on board the ship: wine, mineral water, juices and soda water.

The ship also stops on the St. Jerolim Island (sveti Jerolim). On the island, you will find a nice beach, shower and restaurant. Those who wish can stay there to swim - the ship will be back in 2.5 hours to pick you up. The ship may be accompanied by dolphins and you will be able to take a nice selfie).

Brijuni view tour costs 220 kuna or 30 Euro. Payment on the ship! We have a discount for children from 5 to 12 years old and the ticket will cost 110 kuna, for children from 1 to 5 years old and the ticket will cost 50 kuna and for children under 1 it will be free.

Please note that St. Jerolim Island (sveti Jerolim) is part of the National Park and to visit it you should buy an admission ticket. It will be paid separately on the island. The cost of the island admission ticket is 20 kuna or 3 Euro. You can buy a ticket from the custodian who meets the visitors at the wharf. So many boats to choose from but after checking reviews we decided on this one. From the point of booking (very easy, down at the water front in Pula) to climbing aboard, we (husband, 11year old daughter and myself) had a fantastic time. Although we made some effort to pick up the very basics of the Croatian language (not great by any stretch) we were very grateful that our tour guide on-board was fluent in Croatian, German and English, (just the languages we witnessed, possibly more!). She was able to inform us of some great historical info about the surrounding scenery, very interesting but in short enough bursts that our almost teen took everything in. Cannot praise the tour guide highly enough. While on-board, we each received a very palatable meal - choice of fish, chicken or vegetarian. Simple food done well, and cooked fresh on the boat.
While out, we were lucky enough to see many dolphins, just fantastic, and the captain of the boat remained a respectful distance from them. Our daughter had a great time and was especially pleased when she got a 'try on' of the captain's hat, a lovely touch only beaten by a quick photo at the helm wearing it!
Last but by no means least - value for money! Meal is included in the price, as is drinks - red wine for my husband, white wine for me and soft drinks or water for our daughter. Drinks were provided by the bottle and there seemed to be a never-ending supply! All things considered, a great time had by all! Thank you very much!

We were talked into this buy a nice gentleman who had a great pitch. Having been disappointed at going on these before and never seeing anything, I screamed like a little girl when they found the dolphins. These guys obviously are in the know finding them and other animals out and about. I know it’s not guaranteed but they seemed to really try knowing everyone wants to see them. Also unlimited drinks and food for 30£?! Worth it

We went a bit early in the season to Pula but still had amazing weather and enjoyed the korkyra boat excursion around the national park. Unfortunately, we didn't get to stop at the Jerolim island because it was not open yet for the summer season. But the fish served for lunch was tasty and unlimited wine to drink made up for having no stop. I recommend this boat tour for the noon time departure.

Larissa the tour guide was super friendly and her language skills were amazing.

We had fish which was delicious and I highly recommend.

Amazing views of Pula, the islands and the sun setting.

Would love to try the day tour next time :)

We had a nice time the food was nice even though disappointed with fish head attatched to fish body. The seaguls were loud but were drowned out by love shack by the b52's. We were sad that there werent any dolphins but perhals they were busy 5 stars

Would definitely recommend this trip. Went with 4 teenagers. Unlimited drinks (wine, soft drinks & water). Get there early to get seat on top deck. There is a canopy so not fully exposed to the sun. Food was surprisingly good, we had five meat meals (chicken) and one vegetarian meal and there was more than enough. Dolphins were close enough for photos and nice to see that the boats didn't harass them. Toilets on board were ok - small but then it is on a boat. Separate M/W toilets.

We chose this tour as it was simpler than arranging our own journey to Brijuni, and are really happy we did. The guide is excellent, speaking at least 4 languages! The food is simple but tasty - guests are warned not to feed the birds who will come if you do, but they caused us no problems.

We were dropped off at St Jerolim and this was potentially the highlight of the holiday. Beautiful place, with secluded sections of beach as well as a restaurant to top up. We even got to to swim with fish.

Took 5 hours as promised. I would really recommend if you have a spare afternoon in Pula.

We booked for the day trip but when we arrived the captain said he was not happy to take the boat out. We were offered either to have our money back or the Captain's son said he would pick us up from our apartment which was 2.5km from the harbour. We had a lovely trip, unfortunately, the Dolphins didn't show but it was still good. Larissa the tour guide was brilliant and spoke very good English the meal was okay and there were plenty red/white wine and soft drinks. We saw the cranes on the harbour lit up. We had a lift back to our apartment as well
